Dirk Knegtel is the secretary general of BAR and the AOC. In addition, he is also a board member of BATA and president of COSA (BATA/BAR). Before that, he had a long career in the aviation industry. He worked for Delta Air Transport, Sabena, DHL/EAT, Belgocontrol and Tuifly in various managerial and executive roles in public affairs, HR and legal. Dirk also worked for several years as an aviation expert for two ministers of mobility. He is also the spokesperson for BAR in JC 315.02. and chairman of the board of directors of the social fund of this JC.
